Guy Tal Photography / Celebrating the Landscape in Original Photographic Art

Impressions of Capitol Reef
I am fortunate to live next to Capitol Reef National Park - a place I love dearly and that offers an endless array of visual impressions. My favorite image of the park, made by photographer Minor White, is an abstract of multihued jagged rock. I don't know where it is, nor do I care, but the impression it made on me early in my artistic endeavors drove me to explore the landscape more deliberately and to become more aware of its unique graphic qualities. This portfolio is a small tribute to White.
